Vanton Products
Vanton

In 1950, Vanton developed a revolutionary all-plastic pump for use in conjunction with the first heart-lung device. The design limited fluid contact to only two non-metallic parts:a plastic body block and a flexible liner. This event marked the birth of Vanton’s Flex-I-Liner sealless, self-priming, rotary pumps. In 1963, Vanton introduced its first thermoplastic horizontal centrifugal pump, CHEM-GARD, and in 1968 its first thermoplastic vertical pump, SUMP-GARD.

Today, Vanton offers a wide range of Flex-I-Liner, CHEM-GARD and SUMP-GARD pumps that are successfully performing in over 75 countries around the world in all industries and municipal applications involving ultra-pure, corrosive, abrasive and viscous fluids.

CHEM-GARD® Horizontal Centrifugal Pumps

CHEM-GARD® thermoplastic end suction centrifugal pumps are offered in numerous configurations including ANSI, DIN, self-priming, close-coupled, mag-drive, combination close-coupled/mag-drive, sealless, and motor designs with integral pump shafts. Wet end components are available in injection molded, solid, thick-sectioned (not liners), stand-alone (PP) Polypropylene, (PVC) Polyvinyl Chloride, (CPVC) Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride, (PVDF) Polyvinylidene Fluoride, (ECTFE) Ethylene Chlorotrifluoroethylene or other non-metallic materials to ensure they are chemically inert to the fluids and abrasives being pumped.Available capacities to 1,450 GPM, heads to 400 ft., and temperatures up to 275° F.

CHEM-GARD CG

Engineered for all-purpose handling of corrosive, abrasive and ultrapure liquids.Flows: 5 to 1450 gpm (21 to 333 m3/h); Heads: to 400 ft (121 m); Thermoplastics: PP, PVC, PVDF, ECTFE.

CHEM-GARD CGA

These thermoplastic pumps with end suction, centerline discharge, and back pullout construction, combine a wide-open power frame with standard dimensional characteristics embodied in ANSI B73.1 and are available with recessed Vortex impellers for slurries and fluids containing stringy materials or solids up to 2 in. (51 mm) in diameter.Flows: to 1450 gpm (333 m3/h); Heads: to 280 ft (85 m); Thermoplastics: PP, PVDF.

CHEM-GARD CGM

Magnetically driven, sealless, centrifugal thermoplastic pump that meets ANSI B73.1 standards. High performance, permanent, rare-earth magnets transmit power, with the inner magnet rotor assembly isolated from the pumped fluid by a thick-walled thermoplastic encapsulation.Flows: to 600 gpm (138 m3/h); Heads: to 280 ft (85 m); Thermoplastics: PP, PVDF.

CHEM-GARD CGMC

Close-coupled, magnetically driven, sealless, centrifugal thermoplastic pump that meets ANSI B73.1 standards. Equipped with NEMA or metric C-face motors, the close-coupled design eliminates the cost and concern associated with pump/motor alignment and reduces overall length up to 20% of conventionally mounted pumps allowing placement in restricted spaces.Flows: to 400 gpm (91 m3/h); Heads: to 180 ft (55 m); Thermoplastics: PP, PVDF.

CHEM-GARD CGC

Close-coupled, sealless, centrifugal thermoplastic pump that meets ANSI B73.1 standards. Equipped with NEMA or metric C-face motors, the close-coupled design eliminates the cost and concern associated with pump/motor alignment and reduces overall length up to 20% of conventionally mounted pumps allowing placement in restricted spaces.Flows: to 550 gpm (167 m3/h); Heads: to 220 ft (67 m); Thermoplastics: PP, PVC, PVDF.

CHEM-GARD PG

Self-priming, centrifugal thermoplastic pump. With an integrally molded solid thermoplastic priming chamber and check valve, PRIME-GARD self-priming pumps are not subject to siphoning and loss of prime when shut down which is a tremendous advantage over conventional designs.Flows: 5 to 175 gpm (1 to 40 m3/h); Heads: to 170 ft (51 m); Thermoplastics: PP, PVDF.

CHEM-GARD CGV

Thermoplastic Vortex pump heads handle solids-laden liquids and slurries. Vortex impellers are recessed, dynamically balanced, custom sized and trimmed to suit the shapes, dimensions and physical properties of included solids.Note:Flows and dynamic head pressures for CGV pump heads are dependent on characteristics of the fluid being handled. Thermoplastics: PP, PVC, PVDF, ECTFE.

SUMP-GARD® Vertical Centrifugal Pumps

Vanton vertical thermoplastic sum pumps are engineered for dependable handling of corrosive, abrasive, hazardous and toxic process fluids and plant effluents over broad temperature and pH ranges. These rugged pumps are widely used for processing, environmental controls and water/wastewater treatment throughout the chemical, textile, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, semiconductor, electroplating and other manufacturing industries as well as in utilities and municipal water treatment facilities. Cantilevered "bearingless" designs for sumps up to 4' in depth, sleeve bearing designs for sumps up to 20' deep. Unique vapor seal protects external bearings and motor from corrosive fumes. No metal components come in contact with the sump contents.

SUMP-GARD SG

Vanton’s unique design automatically compensates for different expansion rates between the metal shaft and plastic column. This prevents impeller binding even under wide temperature fluctuations. No metal components come in contact with the pumped fluid making these pumps additionally suitable for handling high purity water, reagent grade chemicals, and other fluids that must remain contamination free. This pump is available with Vortex impeller for slurries and fluids containing stringy materials or solids up to 2 in. (51 mm) in diameter. Flows: to 1450 gpm (333 m3/h); Heads: to 245 ft (56 m); Thermoplastics: PP, PVC, CPVC, PVDF.

SUMP-GARD SGK

The cantilevered, bearingless, large diameter shaft design of the SGK pump eliminates the need for immersed bearings, providing indefinite dry-run capability and dependable operation. SGK pumps are used for transfer and circulation of aggressive or ultrapure fluids in chemical, environmental, manufacturing and wastewater applications including situations where regulations prohibit draining tanks from the bottom. This pump is available with Vortex impeller for slurries and fluids containing stringy materials or solids up to 2 in. (51 mm) in diameter. Flows: to 1000 gpm (230 m3/h); Heads: to 240 ft (73 m); Thermoplastics: PP, PVC, CPVC, PVDF.

SUMP-GARD SGV

Thermoplastic Vortex pump head for slurries and solids-laden fluids. SGV Vortex pump heads feature recessed, dynamically balanced, clog-free, impellers with all fluid contact components injection molded or fabricated of solid, chemically inert, abrasion-resistant thermoplastics.Vortex impellers are custom sized and trimmed to suit the shapes, dimensions and physical properties of included solids. This pump can be used in slurries and fluids containing stringy materials or solids up to 2 in. (51 mm) in diameter. Note:Flows and dynamic head pressures for SGV pump heads are dependent on characteristics of the fluid being handled. Thermoplastics: PP, PVC, CPVC, PVDF.
